Saturday kicked off another great workshop but this time in our new location Billy's Barn at Soper & Co in Toddington.
Armed with my trolley, hob, and all the other paraphernalia, the workshop kicked off with a wonderful bunch of ladies.
All my workshops involve learning how to cook nutritious foods but to also sample them so there was plenty to eat and enjoy.
We started the workshop off with some delicious and nutritious breakfast recipes including my easy overnight oat pots and one of my most popular recipes Smoothie pancakes...although I had ordered some new oat flour which wasnt as smooth as it normally is and came out a little grainier that I would have liked, but heres hoping no one noticed
Then we moved onto lunch, where I prepared some quick dishes that are perfect for taking on the go or even for lunch, rice paper rolls with a peanut dipping sauce and thai peanut rainbow quinoa salad.
And not forgetting dinner, where pizza was on the menu which is always a firm favourite on my workshops.
Using my simple Flatbread recipe and topping with a nutritious pesto, this is a great mid week meal or Friday fakeaway
And of course there were sweet treats to enjoy such as one of my favourites snicker dates..yummy and spiced nut and seed chocolate clusters
Plenty of food was eaten and lots of fun chats about nutrition and health.
I do hope that my wonderful guests enjoyed the experience and went home knowing that we dont have to follow the fad diets...paleo. keto, low carb to be healthy, and dont have to buy expensive ingredients or the popular so called superfoods, but instead eat a rainbow of vegetables and fruit..the superfoods in our fridge and eat to enjoy food.
Dont forget I have some more dates coming up at Billy's Barn at Soper & Co and more workshops to be confirmed including a Healthy Sweet Treats and a Christmas workshop, so stay tuned to my events page
