You see chia seeds are one of the healthiest foods on the planet and are packed full of fibre which helps to support our gut health, they are loaded with antioxidants which help to fight the production of free radicals which can cause damage to our cells increasing our risk of some diseases including Cancer and also increase aging.
Chia seeds are also high in protein which can help to reduce our appetite and cravings as well as building and repairing tissues within the body and forming the building blocks for enzymes, hormones, bones, muscles, skin and blood.
Chia seeds are also high in calcium, phosphorus, magnesium which can help to support bone health.

Chocolate avocado and creamy Chia Pots
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 medjoul date
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup plain yoghurt
2 tbsp chia seeds
In a blender add the avocado, cacao powder, date and milk and blend until smooth
Add the chia seeds, stir through and allow to set
In a bowl add the milk, yoghurt and chia seeds and stir through and allow to set
In the morning spoon them into jars in layers and top with berries, nut butter and seeds
You can layer these thee night before ready for the morning
