Double Chocolate Baked Oats

This is a firm favourite in our house as it’s easy to throw together and is perfect for those mornings when time is limited and you can just heat it up and enjoy!

Packed with wonderful antioxidant, protein rich wholegrain oats, nutrient dense cacao powder and chocolate chunks as well as tahini and wonderful winter spices, it’s the perfect start to the day.

Baked Double Chocolate Oats

1 cup @flahavansuk rolled oats
1/4 cup @naturya cacao powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp mixed spice
1/4 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
1 small mashed banana
2 tbsp @belazu_co tahini
1 1/4 cup @plenishdrinks oat milk
(Optional 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla extract) if you like it sweeter.
@ombarchocolate Dark chocolate broken into chunks (as much as you like plus extra for drizzling)

In a bowl combine all the ingredients and mix together.

Pour into a heat proof dish and pop into a pre heated oven at 170c for approx 35 minutes or until cooked through.

Allow to cool slightly and finish off with an extra drizzle of dark chocolate and tahini and some warm milk

This can be kept in the fridge and eaten the next day and will last a few days in an airtight container in the fridge
