Tempeh Satay Skewers
3 heaped tbsp natural Peanut butter
1 1/2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
2-3 tbsp maple syrup
1 cm fresh ginger
Half a lime
Salt to taste
1 pack of Plant Power Tempeh
2 tsp Tamari
1 tsp sesame oil
To Make the sauce
In a food processor add the peanut butter, tamari, maple syrup, juice or half lime, ginger, chilli, salt to taste, and adding a little water until you get a smooth and runny consistency.
Cut the tempeh into cubes and marinate in the tamari sauce, sesame oil and salt marinade.
In a pan cook the tempeh cubes until golden all the way round and then transfer to the bowl with the satay sauce.
Coat the tempeh and place on skewers (you can of course cook the tempeh in the oven on the skewers)
Coat the tempeh in any leftover satay sauce and serve with some noodles, stir fry veg or fried rice
